Installing Yacine TV on an Android phone or tablet takes about two minutes. Since it is not on the Play Store, you will sideload the APK — here is the full process.
Before You Start
- Android 5.0 or newer
- About 50 MB of free space
- The Yacine TV APK from our download page
Installation Steps
- Download the APK — grab the latest version from the download page.
- Open the file — pull down your notification shade or open your Downloads folder and tap the APK.
- Allow unknown apps — Android will ask for permission. Tap Settings on the prompt and enable Allow from this source (on older Android: enable Unknown sources in Settings → Security).
- Tap Install — then Open once it finishes.
- Pick a channel — no account needed. If you installed the Standard edition, also install YTV Player Pro when the app asks for a player.
Tips
- Updating later? Just install the new APK over the old one — your favorites are kept.
- Getting a “Parse error”? The download was corrupted — re-download the file (see troubleshooting).
- For the smoothest phone experience, use the Black edition — no separate player needed.
